Appointed as lead MEP Designers and acting Manditaire lead. The project consists of a stand-alone 28.8MW over 12 data halls. The building incorporates administration block, external generator building and 75MW substation utility power.

Newday Offices, Kings Cross

Bold and modern 3,000 sq. ft workspace utilizing the Grade II listed building – with maximised space to encourage collaborative working. Design included 300 fixed work stations, open plan desks, meeting pods and an extensive café. The project was specified as a BREEAM excellent design

Rhodes Primary School

Centre Point, London

82 one to five bedroom apartments, pool, spa & gym facilities with views over the west end.

Ide Hill Primary School

JCDecaux: Summit House, London

1980’s built Summit House on Wilson Street, Grade II listed building. 45,000sqft of modern workspace, retail units and residential accommodation.

Appointed to complete the full MEP design for the project. The project cost £16 million and was completed in 2014.

Artillery Row, Westminster

New development of 22 luxurious apartments in London’s Westminster. Responsible for carrying out the mechanical design with PIP Mechanical Services Ltd. and 8 Build as the Main Contractor. The mechanical system comprises, CHP, District Heating Boiler Plant and Cooling Plant Air conditioning to apartments and underfloor heating with MVHR units serving ventilation requirements and central sprinkler system.

Appointed as Prime Agent for this important telecommunications infrastructure project consisting of a number of stand-alone Edge Data Centres in central London. We are delivering a 'one-stop shop' consultancy service to our client for all stages of the project, from RIBA Stage 0 to 6,including: feasibility studies, creation of the ER, site selections, Gap Analysis, fully coordinated design, construction supervision, testing commissioning and handover.

South Park Primary School

Warwick University, 17th Floor. The Shard

Appointed to complete the fit out of the 17th floor of The Shard. The space occupies the 17th floor of the 87-storey Shard, which stands at 306 metres high and is at the heart of London Bridge. The base at The Shard will house a 100-seat lecture theatre and a similar one at 60-seats, plus eight seminar rooms and an IT lab.

Nova House, Slough

A refurbishment of an existing 4 storey office building to a 7 storey 61 apartment residential development. This scheme consists of mainly 2-3 bed apartments fed from a central boiler room/CHP plantroom to heat interface units within each dwelling. PPa provided full MEP duties from concept to completion as part of a design and build for the contractor. This development is being designed to the new BREEAM multi residential system.

Jellyfish: 28th Floor. The Shard

The office space comprises of reception area, training facility, open workspace, a bar (twenty two), meeting and client rooms and the garden room.

Appointed as design partner for the design and build EPC contractor to undertake the stage 4 technical design for MEP,ICT and security systems, in addition to providing the EoR (Engineer of record) architecture through sub-consultancy. The project consists of six data halls plus a G+1 administration building. Each Data hall has an IT capacity of 1.5 MW with the complete fit-out for all six halls on day one giving a total of 9MW.

Addison Road, Holland Park

A 3 storey existing seven bed property. A survey and feasibility study with design for the control of their existing chilled ceilings and underfloor heating systems, with additional modifications to the systems and overhaul of main boiler plant for Mr J.C Decaux’s own dwelling.

Heathervale House

Extensive refurbishment, re-model and extension to an existing commercial property in Tunbridge Wells. The project includes the complete strip out and deconstruction of the building back to the existing concrete frame and subsequent re-build and Cat A fit-out of new office space. Appointed to undertake the full MNEP design for the CAT B design as part of a Design & Build Contract.

PPA carried out the full MEP design including critical systems design solutions, plant selection and Thermal Modelling.
