OUR SPONSORSHIP OF HARPENDEN COLTS F.C
HARPENDEN COLTS AND THE COMMUNITY
Founded in 1976, Harpenden Colts is our local youth football club. They provide football coaching to 1,300 children each week, via 87 squads training and playing across 10 venues. Harpenden Colts’ goal is to offer access to football for any child willing to play; season 2021-2022 had a record-breaking U7 intake of 42 girls which has increased their total female membership to 300.
Harpenden Colts also have an Inclusive Squad for girls and boys aged 6-21 with any kind of learning or physical impairment. The Inclusive Squad offers bi-weekly football training sessions at no charge to players. The Inclusive Squad is part of the Herts Youth Inclusive Football community group (run by representatives from football clubs across Hertfordshire). This group aims to create opportunities for players of all abilities to play football and get involved. Through Herts Youth Inclusive Football, our Inclusive Squad can participate in regular Match Day Tournaments, Inclusive Football Festivals, and Football Fun Days, and meet other players like them from clubs across the district.
